This Privacy Policy sets forth our commitment to you regarding your privacy and security on the AAATLC.com website (the “Site”). AAA T.L.C. Health Care, Inc. (“AAA”) the owner of the Site, takes your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy will detail the categories of information we collect from Site users, how we use such information, and how you can access the information that we have and make changes or remove it. This Privacy Policy is issued based upon our commitment to you and is drafted in conformity with California Business and Professions Code section 22575. For California consumers, special considerations may apply as set forth below.

Information Collected and How It is Used

General

By operating the Site, much like many other sites on the Internet, we collect certain information about your use of the site so that we can monitor the Site to make sure that it is working as expected and that our users are able to use the Site effectively and efficiently. AAA collects both personally identifiable information (which is information specific and personal to you) and non-personally identifiable information (which is aggregate information that does not identify you). We do not sell any of the information that we collect.

With respect to information collected when you contact us through the Site or information we collect via our blog subscription form, or from an email that you may choose to send to us or a live chat that you initiate with us, we will use the information that you provide to respond to your request and where applicable, to communicate with you or deliver AAA services to you. Depending on the form you use, we may also collect the following: what nursing or caregiving qualifications you have, what the best time to give you a call is, your contact preference, and information you provide within the “message” text box. This information is used to respond to your request and to provide other necessary and legitimate business services, like communicating to you on behalf of ourselves or our marketing partners.

Digital Information

As you use our Site it is necessary for us to collect certain data to help ensure that our site is functioning properly, evaluate the number of visitors we may have an prevent any unauthorized conduct. This type of data includes: IP Address, browser type, geographic location, device type (for mobile), domain names, internet service provider, operating system, the files viewed on our Site, clickstream data, access times, metadata, and referring website addresses. We do not use or share information provided to us via this Site in ways unrelated to the uses described in this policy without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

In certain instances, like when you contact us through the Site (through a contact form or through live chat) or when you subscribe to our blog, we share the personal information we collect with trusted third-party service providers or business partners. These include business service partners to facilitate our communications with you and to provide certain services on our behalf. We also share this information with service providers who provide technical, analytical, and other similar services on our behalf.

Security - How We Transmit and Store Information

AAA– Under 13 Privacy Statement, Information Collection & Use

AAA does not specifically target the Site to children under 13 years of age and does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. We encourage parents and guardians to spend time online with their children to observe, participate in and/or monitor and guide their online activity. If a parent or guardian believes that AAA has in its database the information of a child under the age of 13, please contact us immediately and we will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Business Transitions

In the event AAA goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information via email at the address you have provided during registration.

California Consumers – CCPA

Your Rights Regarding Your Information

If you are a consumer, as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), you have a right to request that AAA disclose to you the categories of personal information we have collected from you, the categories of sources from which such information has been collected, the business or commercial purpose for which your information has been collected, the categories of third parties with whom your personal information is shared, and the specific pieces of personal information that have been collected about you. You also have a right under the CCPA to request disclosure of your personal information which has been sold by a business, and to opt-out of that sale, however AAA does not sell consumer personal information other than as described in this Privacy Policy and has not sold any consumer personal information in the last 12 months. Additionally, you have the right to request that we delete personal information that we may have collected from you. Because, for your security, we require you to prove your identity before granting access to your information, we will ask you to verify certain personal information with us. The information we collect from you in connection with this verification of your identity will be used solely for the purposes of verification. Note that we will still retain information, pursuant to California Civil Code section 1798.105(d), if retention of the information is necessary to:

  • Complete the transaction for which the personal information was collected, provide a good or service requested by you, or reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform a contract between us and you.

You may designate an authorized agent to exercise your disclosure and deletion rights under the CCPA.
